he children of Lewis "Skip" and
Beverly Siegel of West Bloomfield
. hosted a family dinner at Mario's in
Detroit honoring their parents' 60th anniver-
sary. They were married on April 8, 1950, in
Angola, Ind., where they eloped.
Their children are Jeff and Sheila Siegel
of Birmingham, Dr. Les and Ellen Siegel of
Bloomfield Hills, David and Nancy Siegel
of Farmington Hills, Dr. Robert and Beth
(Siegel) Sills of Bloomfield Village and Ed
and Susan (Siegel) Crotty of Naperville, Ill.
Grandchildren are Benjamin, Samantha,
Michael, Eric, Steven, Jaclyn, Heather, Scott,
Stephanie, Joe, Sarah and Brian.
Their loved ones wish them a continued life
of great health, joy and happiness.

inda and Steve Gold of Huntington
Woods are delighted to announce
the engagement of their daughter
Sara Gail to Daniel Aaron Brooks, son of
Sara and Louis Brooks of West Bloomfield.
Sara attended Michigan State University
and has a master's degree in social work
from the University of Michigan.
Dan attended Michigan State University
and served in the Peace Corps in Honduras
from 2006-2008.
The couple currently live in Arlington, Va.,
where Sara works for the U.S. Department
of Agriculture. Dan is a manager at a popu-
lar D.C. restaurant and will begin graduate studies in urban planning this fall.
A June 2010 wedding is planned at the Detroit Yacht Club.

Tobias - Gad-Harf

engagement of her daughter
Danielle to Joshua, son of Mr. David and
Mrs. Nancy Gad-Harf of South Orange, N. J.
Danielle is also the daughter of the late
Mr. Charles Tobias.
Danielle earned a degree in education at
Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti
and a master's degree in reading and learn-
ing disabilities at DePaul University in
Chicago.
Joshua earned a B.A. at Washington
University in St. Louis, Mo., and a J.D. at
Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Danielle and Joshua live in Chicago. A July wedding is planned at Temple
Israel in West Bloomfield.
