GERALD WEISMAN, 89, of Sanford,
Fla., died April 4, 2010. He was a baker
and owner several bakeries in Detroit
and Jewell Bakery in Southfield.
Mr. Weisman is survived by his son
and daughter-in-law, Sheldon and
Terri Weisman of Waterford; daughter
and son-in-law, Rochelle and Ronald
Marcus of Florida; grandchildren, Ryan
Weisman, Scott and Rhonda Marcus, Lisa
and Kevin Lanier; great-grandchildren,
Austin and Tyler Marcus and Ava Lanier.
He was the beloved husband of the
late Frieda Weisman.
Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.

FLORENCE MIRIAM WEISS, 79, for-
merly of Detroit, died March 11, 2010,
during her sleep.
She will be deeply missed, always
loved and never forgotten by her beloved
husband, Murray; her three children,
Allisone (Al), Gregg (Nanette) and
Dennis (Lois); sisters-in-law, Janet and
Donna; two grandchildren, Samantha
and Amanda; eight nieces and nephews;
and her many friends.
A celebration of her life took place
Sunday, March 14, 2010, 2 p.m. at
Temple Emanu-El, 225 N. Country Club

RUTH CHERESHNIA ZACK, 89, for-
merly of Oak Park of Tampa, Fla., died
March 29, 2010.
In addition to being a devoted wife,
mother and grandmother, she was a grad-
uate of Wayne State University, an avid
reader and follower of current events.
Mrs. Zack was a charter member of the
Tampa Chapter of the Brandeis National
Committee and an active participant in
literature and film review groups.
She is survived by her beloved hus-
band of 57 years, Edward Zack; daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Nadine (Dennis)
Feldman and Betsy (Abe) Marcadis,
both of Tampa; grandchildren, Aaron
Feldman, Benjamin Feldman, Andrea
Marcadis and Samuel Marcadis; many
brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and
nephews from Michigan.
Mrs. Zack was the daughter of the late
Samuel and the late Anna Chereshnia.
Graveside ervices were held at Florida
National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
