Registration is at 5:45 p.m. with dinner at 6:30. "WINGO is a high-energy evening filled with bingo, raffles, silent auction and a sit-down kosher dinner," says Julie Hirsch, event co-chair. "We have a live bingo caller for our 10 games and more than 75 raffle prizes from local businesses." General admission is $45, which includes dinner and one bingo card. Additional cards and raffle tickets are available. Participants can purchase bingo packages, which offer a chance for participants to donate extra money to ORT. Four packages range in cost from $100-$550. Participants are asked to bring a school supply item for the Hermelin ORT Resource Center at the Jewish Community Center in West Bloomfield. For each donation, a participant will receive a free raffle ticket. Event co-chairs include Hirsch, Robbie Sherman, Paula Lynn and Sylvia Wolf.
