Coach Pearl directed his team to an epi showdown with MSU on March 28th, which resulted in a disap pointingl point loss to the Spartans. Pearl has demonstrated a life-long commitment to Lewis causes and to Israel. "Growing up in the Boston area, Israel ha been at the forefront of family conversation ever since I was small kid: he says. "My grandparents were Orthodox and kept kosher home as well. I can remember that it was much more dif ficult for my parents, who endured a lot of anti-Semitism durin my childhood than what my own children have to deal with today "Israel," he adds, Is also at the forefront and part of m daily life as well. Our rabbi discusses Israel each and every wee at the Shabbat service I attend with my family. And when I ope the local daily newspaper, I don't automatically turn to the sports page. I flip through the World section to see if there's story about Israel. Being Jewish and being connected t Casual attire throughout Shabbat Israel is part of who I am."
