What do you wish Southeastern Michigan
could offer and what changes would you
like to see happen here?
It would be great to see access to debt for
small business growth as well as tax credits
and grants for start-ups hiring unemployed
talent. We see a lot of qualified people on
unemployment who apply to work with our
team. If a credit for small businesses was
created for hiring employees currently drawing
unemployment, I believe it would promote small
business growth.
What do you like about living Jewishly in
Southeastern Michigan?

It's cool to see other young people in
technology getting into new businesses. My
wife, Abbee, and I look forward to starting our
Jewish family in Detroit. I grew up in Columbus,
Ohio, which has a great Jewish scene, and
that's very important for us when we have kids.

Why have you chosen to stay in
Southeastern Michigan?
I'm not from Michigan, nor do I have roots here.
I stay here because of the low cost of living and
a great young professional scene in the greater
Southeastern Michigan area. The electronic
music scene here is second to none and music
has always been my passion. We've been able
to sell a lot of our Livio Radios to people in
Detroit mainly because of the strong attachment
within the Detroit community to music and
Pandora. Whether it's electro, jazz or R&B,
Detroit loves their music arid loves the Livio
