Bloomfield Hospital
turned 1-year-old last
week. In a short 12
months at the hospital:
• More than 1,300 babies made

their world debut at the hospital's
Birthing Center;
• Patient satisfaction scores

reached the 99th percentile just
three months after opening;
• 1,470 new jobs were created;

• More than 30,000 patients
received treatment in the

Emergency Department;
• Bed capacity was increased

to 160 from 60 on opening day,

with the hospital currently running
at 85 percent capacity.
