ed his 98th birthday March 2, sur-
rounded by loving family, including
most especially his adoring and adored wife,
Jeanne, to whom he has been married for
76 years. Celebrating this milestone, in per-
son and afar, were children Lenore Diskin,
Robert (Adrienne) Feldstein; grandchildren,
Tony Feldstein, Leslie Flagel, Mark Diskin,
Jonathan (Margie) Diskin, Jeffrey (Stacy)
Diskin, Jamie Diskin; and great grand-
children, Mearyl Diskin, Harrison Diskin,
Brittany Diskin, Alyssa Diskin, Megan Diskin
and Adam Flagel.

her 90th birthday on Jan. 17 at a
brunch hosted by children Barbara
and Jerry Cook, Carol and Marty Cook, and
Fran Cook and David Wiener. Joining them
were Jeanette's grandchildren, great-grand-
children, nieces, nephews, great-nieces,
great-nephews and dear friends. Family
came from Ohio, Florida, Arizona, New York
and Massachusetts to attend this wonderful
event.

children Lindsey Dara Weinberger and
Samuel Harry Grossman.
Lindsey and Sam are the grandchildren
of Gita Weinberger and Bea and Jerry
Mandell of West Bloomfield and Gertie and
Joe Grossman of Farmington Hills.
Lindsey and Sam began dating while
attending middle and high school together.
Lindsey went on to graduate from James
Madison College at Michigan State
University in East Lansing while Sam received his bachelor's degree from the
University of Michigan. Both now live and work in the Metro Detroit area.
A May wedding in West Bloomfield is planned.
