Cooley stands firm in its belief that a diverse student
body enhances both the academic experience and the
legal profession.

Juanita Bocanegra, a 2008 Cooley graduate, came from a
family of migrant workers who moved between Texas
and Michigan each year even while she was in high school.
Although her family and community members worked in
the fields, Juanita always wanted something different —
a legal career.

COOk'Y's flexible weekend schedule,

JUANITA BOCANEGRA

Cooley was her answer because she
was able to go to law school on the
weekends, continue working and caring
for her family during the week, and
finish law school in four years.
