Family Focus 'My Girl' On The Runway Adat Shalom's dad-daughter dance maintains a winning tradition. WBHS models strut their stuff in "Crime of Fashion." S tudents in the fashion merchandising program at West Bloomfied High School presented their 11th annual spring fashion show,"Crime of Fashion" on March 5. Proceeds benefited the senior class prom, the American Cancer Society, Our Children's Fund and the school's fashion and video production programs. Students were responsible for modeling, staging, merchandising, publicity, promotion, choreography, hospitality, photography and music, under the direc- tion of Julie Zalla and Lisa Sallen. Local merchants and salons provided clothing, accessories and services. The annual show has become a sellout with more than 740 people in attendance. On March 14, the Men's Club held its sixth annu- al father-daughter dance, attended by about 75 guests. After a dinner of salad and pizza from Jerusalem Pizza and a gooey ice cream sundae bar, participants took to the dance floor to enjoy themselves. Music was donated by Living Energy. Every daughter went home with a framed photo of herself and Dad courtesy of photographer Paula. There were also a variety of prizes handed out on the dance floor. A highlight of the evening was when the daughters sat on the stage while the fathers serenaded them with a rousing rendition of "My Girl" by the Temptations. Michael Weil and Brad Feldman were co-chairs of the event.
