onald and Marjory (Winkelman)
Epstein of Bloomfield Hills
are delighted to announce the
engagement of their daughter Lena to Brett
Koretzky, son of Barry and Susan Koretzky of
Birmingham, Ala.
Grandparents are Elsie Epstein of Franklin,
Margaret Winkelman and Robert Krause of
Bloomfield Hills, the late Stanley Winkelman and
the late Eugene Epstein. Brett is the grandson of
the late Estelle and the late Isadore Eubanks and
the late Edith and the late Sol Koretzky.
Lena graduated from Harvard University in
Cambridge, Mass., and received an MBA from the University of Michigan. She is an
owner and general manager of Vesco Oil Corporation, a family-owned oil distributorship.
Brett graduated from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala., with a degree in man-
agement information systems. He is an advanced business intelligence analyst with
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
An August wedding is planned at Temple Beth El in Bloomfield Township.

Rosenbaum-Schechter

athy and Alex Schechter of West
Bloomfield and Lisa and Richard
Rosenbaum of Bloomfield Township
are thrilled to announce the engagement of
their children Julie Renee Schechter and Eric
Marc Rosenbaum.
Julie is the granddaughter of Irina Schechter of
Petach Tikva, Israel, and Eric is the grandson of
Linda and Kenneth Lenchner of Bloomfield Hills.
Julie graduated from Wayne State University
in Detroit with a B.A. degree in marketing and
works for Hillel of Metro Detroit.
Eric graduated from Michigan State
University in East Lansing with a double B.S.
degree in chemical engineering and psychology. He is a medical assistant in West
Bloomfield and soon hopes to enroll in medical school.
The happy couple will be married in May in Farmington Hills and will enjoy a
southern Caribbean honeymoon. Julie and Eric reside in Royal Oak.

the engagement of their daugh-
ter Nicole Brooke Janower to David Robert
Goldman, son of Linda and Howard Goldman
of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and West
Bloomfield.
Nicole graduated from Michigan State
University in East Lansing with a bachelor's
degree in education. She teaches middle school
mathematics in Waterford.
David earned his bachelor's degree in con-
struction management from Michigan State
University. He is employed by Concentra
Medical Centers as a project manager for the many clinics located across the
United States.
The couple met during their time attending Michigan State University. An August
2010 wedding is planned in Troy.
