tor of the Hermelin ORT Center, led
the group in a seminar on social
media. ORT America-Michigan
Region director Nicole Muchnick also
participated.
The group's mission is to
empower and enrich Jewish women
through activities, friendship,
resources, eduation and humor. The
mission of the Hermelin ORT Center
is to empower and enrich the indi-
viduals who walk through its doors,
enabling them with self-esteem and
skills to carry them into the work-
place and succeed.
"Those who attended got a great
lesson in social networking and a
wonderful space to share their can-
cer journeys and personal histories,"
says Passon.

The Speakers Bureau program
offers a wide variety of workshops
on topics such as cancer education,
heart health, allergies and asthma,
dementia, stress management,
humor, joint replacement, parenting,
caregiver support issues, foot care,
fitness, skin care, eye care, health
care career information, children's
issues, nutrition, safety and injury
prevention, and infectious diseases.
Botsford also offers free flu shot
clinics and health fairs for nonprofits
as well as for corporations.
Botsford's speakers are members
of the hospital's professional and
medical staff. Presentations normally
last 30 to 60 minutes.
