Dr. Elford, 92, is a resident of Heritage
House of Southfield. While visiting with
him, Karen Kraft, the DreamCatcher,
realised he had a gift for making people
laugh and that he desired to be enter-
tained. DreamWeavers arranged for
Generation Gap, a local improv comedy
troupe, to donate their time on Jan. 19
to entertain Dr. Elford, his family and
Heritage House residents.

Troupe members are in their 30s,
40s and 60s. They perform at local
clubs and events in the Detroit area and
Arm Arbor, currently appearing every
Wednesday evening at Go Comedy
Improv Theater in Ferndale.
More than 70 Heritage House res-
dents were in attendance along with Dr.
Elford's daughter and son-in-law, Maura
and David Levine, and grandson, Jarett
Levine. The Generation Gap performed
