What do you wish
Southeastern Michigan
could offer and what
changes would you like to
see happen here?
A little public transportation
wouldn't be the worst thing to
bring to Detroit, but the big-
gest change I would like to see
is the attitude outsiders have
about what is going on here. The
national news media lead people
to believe that Michigan is this
frozen. troubled place that will
never bounce back from the cur-
rent economic conditions. I see
it as a gorgeous place with four
seasons, beautiful landscapes
and happy people who know
who they are and who they want
to surround themselves with.

What do you like about
living Jewishly in Southeast
Michigan?
I love the sense of community!
The anonymity of a big city can
be really lonely, but here you
can feel like you are a part of
something bigger than yourself.
The Jewish community here is so
large that everywhere you meet
new people, it is only a matter
of minutes before you've found
friends in common and personal
connections. It feels safe and
supportive!
What are your favorite
hangouts and how do you
spend your free time?
y friends and I can make any
place our new favorite place with
ease, but I would have to say
downtown Royal Oak is my cur-
rent favorite area to hangout.
