Jewish women are more high-main-
tenance," says the dating consultant,
whose family often visits Michigan for
special events. "They actually may not
be, but they do or say certain things
that make men jump to those conclu-
sions.
"If a Jewish guy takes out a Jewish
woman and is questioned about what
he does, what his parents do, where
he lives and where he went to school,
he worries that she is screening him
for earning potential and his ability to
take care of her.
"Most of these Jewish women are
just genuinely curious and want to get
to know the guys better. The women
aren't even aware that they're creating a
negative impression."
Greenwald's new release is a rework-
ing of Why He Didn't Call You Back:
1,000 Guys Reveal What They Really
Thought About You After Your Date.
The new paperback gives more atten-
tion to using past behavior as a way of
thinking through future action.
Greenwald's overall findings, based
on calls to men of different back-
grounds, relate to questions about
dates in which men had initial interest
but decided not to call back and suc-
cessful dates that led to multiple dates
or relationships.
The consultant-author, who assists
singles into their 60s, may be contacted

com . As a new venture, she is exploring
opportunities for film and reality shows
about her experiences.
"My hope is that my daughter, who
just had her bat mitzvah, is learning
these [dating] lessons young so she'll
date smart when it comes time for her
