Hebrew Free Loan's existence is
based on community support,

and we were thrilled by the response
to the launch of our "Change" the
World tzedakah box program.

If you're looking for the perfect
time to bring your full tzedakah
box into our office, the weeks
both before and after Shabbat
Mishpatim (February 12 and 13)
are appropriate. On this shabbat,

the Torah asks us to focus on the
mitzvah that obligates Jews to take
care of each other with respect and
dignity. If you don't have a tzedakah
box, please call our office and adopt
one of four lively and colorful designs
— or go to our Web site any time and
make an online contribution.
Help Hebrew Free Loan provide
interest-free loans to those who live
in your neighborhood, who are your
colleagues, or who may be one of
your family, friends or peers. This is

a mitzvah that matters.

In the spirit of
Shabbat Mishpatim,
help our people by donating
to Hebrew Free Loan.

Hebrew Free Loan provides interest-

free loans for living expenses,
tuition assistance, job training

and many other financial needs:
medical expenses, small business

start-up costs, and much more. If
you or someone you know needs
help, please click or call.

ou say your gym membership
has expired? You say you ought
to be more physically fit? You say
that your verbal skills need work? No need
to get any fancy equipment. No need to
force yourself into those workout clothes.
Just consider some common
fitness terms and apply them.
• Kick. If you have some
negative behavior that is
hampering you, you need to
kick that habit. You can kick-
start your life by increasing
such awareness.
• Push. When push comes
to shove, you need to push the
envelope and prove yourself
to your friends, your boss,
your family and most of all
to yourself. It is not, however,
necessary to be pushy about it.
• Pull. Show that you are active by
pulling your own weight but do not grow
dependent on pulling strings to realize
accomplishments.
• Lift. If you feel yourself in a down-
ward spiral, lift your voice in song; not in
the middle of the workday, however, or
you will be lifted permanently out of that

Cell Phones For Soldiers

Cell Phones for Soldiers and Wells
Fargo Advisors-Farmington Hills are
encouraging Metro Detroiters to sup-
port 150,000 U.S. men and women
serving overseas by donating used, no-
longer-needed cell phones. Cell Phones
for Soldiers hopes to collect 50,000 cell
phones this year to help keep troops
connected with their families.
The donated phones are sent to
ReCellular in Dexter. ReCellular pays
Cell Phones for Soldiers for each

position. Stopping to smell the proverbial
roses can lift your spirits and prove quite
beneficial.
• Run. If you can run rings around the
competition, you will be marked for suc-
cess. Just make sue that your improved
station does not give you
cause to run off at the mouth.
• Climb. As you trounce the
competition, you may find that
you can more easily climb the
corporate ladder. Do not get so
full of yourself that some must
ask you to climb down off your
high horse.
• Pump. Success may allow
you to rightly pump up your
ego. Do not be tempted to
pump up your resume; that
could lead to much embar-
rassment.
• Hit. If you painstakingly hit the
books, then hit the bricks; you will find
you will soon hit your stride. Success
awaits your endeavors.
See there! No costly special shoes, no
designer exercise clothes, juts verbal acu-
ity will help you keep your finger on the
pulse of life. E
