DOREEN A. BRANDT (nee Chayet) has
passed away.
She was the beloved wife of Allen
M. Loving; mother of Janice H. (John)
Markulin, Howard (Sharon) Brandt and
Robyn (Craig) Stocker; dear sister of
Carolyn and late Murray Chayet; devoted
grandmother of Erin, Ashley, Amber,
Michelle, Rachel and Heather; and a cher-
ished aunt.
Services were held Friday, Jan. 22, at
the Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial
Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Road, Cleveland
Heights, Ohio.

LYNN RENEE BROD, 58, of Holly, died
Jan. 24, 2010.
She is survived by her niece and
nephews, Michelle (Michael) Munn,
Bradley (Connie) Lober, Neil Wiseblott;
aunt, Pauline Berman; cousins, Norman
Berman, Marlene Cassidy, Lisa (Gerald)
Boreland, Paul (Lisa) Metier, Kirk (Jessica)
Cassidy and Susanne Stanford.
Ms. Brod was the loving daughter of the
late Betty and the late Joseph Brod; sister
of the late Helene Carol Lober and the late
Julieanne Wiseblott.
Interment at the Clover Hill Park
Cemetery in Birmingham. Contributions

She is survived by her husband of 68

grandchildren, Erica and David Bartley,
Nathaniel and Jessica Canvasser, Leah

sister-in-law, Norma Goldman.
She was the beloved sister of the
late Bernice Miro and the late Bernard

died Jan. 20, 2010.
He is survived by his beloved wife,

in-law, Nancy Lewis of West Bloomfield,
Julie and Brian Papo of Novi; grandchil-
dren, Jennifer and Laura Davidson, Marla

ALLAN ZELL
GOLDFINE, 68, of
Howell, the light and
love of his family, died
Jan. 11, 2010, after a
brave battle.
His time with his
family was too brief. He
Goldfine
was a graduate of Wayne
State University Law
School. After being in private practice for
many years, he worked for the Friend of
the Court and most recently, Legal Aide.
He was an intelligent, talented, funny
man with a love of books, comic books,
photography, science fiction and dancing.
He was loved by everyone he met, a very
kind and generous man. The family feels
incredibly blessed to have known him.
Mr. Goldfine is survived by his mother,
Rachel Goldfine; brother, Dr. Richard
Goldfine; sister, Nancy Boyer Skae; nieces
and nephews, Cathy (Robert) Ooms, Marc
(Martine) Boyer and Lindsey Goldfine;
grandnephews and grandniece, Jared,
Noah, Jacob and Ariel Ooms.

He was the dear son of the late David
Goldfine.
A memorial service was held.
Contributions may be made to a charity of
one's choice.

MAX GROSSBERG, 101, of Plantation
Fla., died Jan. 7, 2010.
He is survived by his loving son, Dr.
Sidney (Dr. Indgrid) Grossberg of West
Bloomfield; devoted sister, Chilly; many
nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-
grandchildren; cherished and loving com-
panions, Ivy Smith and Pauline Mason.
He was the husband of the late Clara;
father of the late Dr. Marilyn Feder.
Services were held at Menorah Gardens
and Funeral Chapel in Southwest Ranches,
Fla.

ESTELLE LEVINE, 82, of Southfield, died
on Jan. 22, 2010.
She is survived by her daughters and
sons-in-law, Marcelle and Louis Molnar
of West Bloomfield, Carol Lynn (Jim)
Drennen of Hood River, Ore.; son, Elliott
Levine; grandchildren, Andrew and Rena
Molnar; brother-in-law and partner
Seymour Levine and Penny; brother and
sisters-in-law, Martin and Connie Levine,
Gerry Levine.
Mrs. Levine was the beloved wife of the
late Dr. Bernard Levine; cherished mother
of the late Leslie Levine, the late Howard
Levine and the late Brian Levine; sister of
the late Florence Arons.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery in
