the Torah as a bar
mitzvah on Saturday,
Jan. 30, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue
in Farmington Hills.
Sallan
He is the son of Lesly
and Andy Sallan and
brother of Jillian and Sydnee. Thrilled
grandparents are Lorraine Sallan, Jan
and Jerry Sallan, Carol Cohen and Jack
Cohen. Dean is also fortunate to have
his great-grandmother, Edith Cohen,
share in this celebration.
Dean is a seventh-grade student
at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. Among
several volunteer experiences, he is
looking most forward to his next proj-
ect on Mitzvah Day.

in West Bloomfield

Saturday, Jan. 30, as
she celebrates her
bat mitzvah. She is the sister of Harry
and the grandchild of Ruth and Barry
Singer and Meryl and Terry Podolsky.
Annabel attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. She felt her
involvement at Friendship Circle in
West Bloomfield was the mitzvah proj-
ect that had the most meaning for her.

TLC is a unique preschool program based on the concept that
children learn seamlessly through play. We call it Masterminding, a

technique that encompasses the whole child, not just the mind and
body, but the child's emotional and spiritual sides as well. Visit us to
