Service aids seniors
in getting around.

A

new business has
opened its doors to
assist seniors who
don't drive but wish
to stay independent — either
in their homes, apartments or
senior residences.
Senior Concierge offers non-
medical, non-housekeeping ser-
vices to meet needs of the elderly.
It provides companionship, trans-
portation, errand running and con-
versation to keep seniors involved
and independent, while allowing
their families to meet their own
needs with jobs and children.
Senior Concierge will drive and
accompany seniors to doctor,
manicure, hair or pet appoint-
ments or to the mall, restaurants
or airports, etc. It will also oversee
household repairs and needs;
basically anything from A to Z at
any time of day.
Principals
Frank Burman
Gordon of
Bloomfield
Township and
Liz Pinto of
Troy have lived
the lives of the
"sandwich gen-
Frank Gordon
eration" and
know the dif-
ficulties juggling
jobs, family, and
parents. The dif-
ficulty providing
adequate and
personal love
and care for par-
Liz Pinto
ents encouraged
them to start a business that could
help others in these situations.
"We would like to be seniors'
safety net and companion, acting
on behalf of children who don't
have the time in their busy lives
— or who live too far away to
meet the many personal needs of
their parents," said Gordon. "We
will act as the children of seniors,
helping out whenever they can't."
Contact Pinto at (248) 225-6813
or Gordon at (248) 321.9367 or e-
mail info.seniorconcierge@gmail.
corn to set up a free consultation
for ongoing or one-time service.
