hilip and Eleanor Smith of West
Bloomfield recently celebrated
their 65th wedding anniversary.
Their children, Dr. David and Sue Smith,
Zave and Mary Jo Smith, and their grand-
children, Benjamin, Emily and Lisa Smith,
Katherine and Rob Kaufman, Dr. Daniel
and Nicole Weiss, and Deborah Weiss, and
great-grandchildren Alexander, Andrew and
Joshua, all express love and best wishes.

icole Beth Jacobson and Zachary
Alan Spector were married
recently at Sunrise Amphitheatre
atop Flagstaff Mountain in Boulder, Colo.,
followed by a reception at the Boulder
Dushanbe Tea House. Rabbi Phillip Kranz of
Atlanta, Ga., officiated.
Nicole is the daughter of Karen and Stan
Jacobson of Waterford. Zac is the son of Dr.
and Mrs. Robert Spector of Atlanta.
They were honored to have their grand-
parents Larry and Martha Paul and Adele
Epstein participate in the ceremony.
The couple enjoyed their honeymoon by
visiting the Tetons, Yellowstone and Bozeman, Mont. in an RV. They reside in
Boulder.

ebra and Jeffrey Tapper of West
Bloomfield are delighted to
announce the engagement of
their son Ryan Scott Tapper to Melissa Gale
Ramsey, the daughter of Marcia Ramsey
of Westland and William Ramsey, also of
Westland.
Ryan graduated from Michigan State
University in East Lansing with a bachelor
of arts degree in hospitality business. He
is employed as a personal banker with JP
Morgan Chase.
Melissa is also a graduate of Michigan
State University, earning both a bachelor of
arts with a major in accounting and a master of science in accounting. She is a
consultant with Ernst & Young.
An October 2010 wedding is planned in Commerce.
