Regional Director will report to and assist the Regional Director in implementing
ADL programs in the region which may include some or all of the following:
investigating complaints of discrimination, anti-Semitic incidents and other
civil rights issues; outreach and engagement with inter-faith, multi-cultural,
educational, State legislative and law enforcement groups; public relations;
events planning; fund-raising and administrative/office support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 1-2 years of progressively responsible human relations or community
service experience including some program management experience
• Familiarity with the region
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort with public speaking
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, writing, & editing skills
• Intermediate ability with the Microsoft Suite — Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary to represent
ADL and to attend community events
• Some travel within the region
