PAUL SHAWN, 92, of Birmingham, died

Dec. 2, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Freda Shawn;
sons and daughters-in-law, David and
Donna Shawn of Rochester Hills, Ronald
and Nancy Shawn of West Bloomfield,
Lawrence and B.J. Shawn of Petosky, Neil
and Michelle Shawn of Petosky; sister-
in-law, Blanche Shawn; grandchildren,
Renee and Jeff Barratt, Micah and Martha
Shawn, Rebecca and Bradley Kranig,
Chase Shawn, Kaitlyn Shawn; great-grand-
children, Chaya Barratt, Rhianne Barratt,
Solana Baran, Mitchell Kranig, Connor
Kranig, Alison Schlick, Neil Schlick, Jessica
Amon, Sara Langkan.

RENEE SPARAGE, 82, of West

Bloomfield, died Dec. 5, 2009.
She was the co-owner of Smith Welding
in Detroit, which opened in 1917.

Mrs. Sparage is survived by her son,
Irving Sparage; daughters and son-in-law,
Karen Weiss of West Bloomfield, Sandy
and Ken Gilbert of Birmingham; grand-
children, Daniel Weiss, Regine Sparage,
Jake and Kory Gilbert.
She was the beloved wife of the late
Ralph Sparage and the last of six chil-
dren born to the late Jacob and the late
Rebecca Smith.
Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one's choice. Arrangements by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.

ROBERT WOOLF, 90, of Huntington

Woods, died Dec. 6, 2009.
He was a past owner of Van Dyke
Furniture. Mr. Woolf served in the South
Pacific during World War II and was an
officer with the Jewish War Veterans.
Mr. Woolf is survived by his wife,
Helaine Woolf; daughters and son-
in-law, Barbara Woolf Packard and
Stuart Packard of Bloomfield Hills,
Ilene and Neil Danziger; grandchildren,
Debra Danziger and Jason Panzer and

Jeffrey Danziger; great-granddaughter,
Megan Panzer; brother, Fred Woolf of
Farmington Hills.
He was the loving brother of the late
Irving Woolf, a beloved son of the late
Benjamin and the late Dorothy Woolf, and
loving brother of the late Irving Woolf,
who died in service in World War II.
Contributions may be made to the
American Heart Association or a charity
of one's choice.
Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel.

JOSEPH ZACK 79, of Oak Park, died Dec.

4, 2009.
He is survived by his daughter and
son-in-law, Andrea and Charles Burg of
Bloomfield Hills; grandchildren, Cameron
and Sarah Burg; many loving nieces, neph-
ews, other family members and friends.
Mr. Zack was the beloved husband
of the late Joyce Zack; father of the late
Steven Zack; brother of the late Eleanor
Goldstick, the late Bernard Zack, the late
Earl Zack, and the late Adrian Zack.
Interment at the Hebrew Memorial Park

Cemetery in Mt. Clemens. Contributions
may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements by Dorfman Chapel.
