Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel. ALBERT ROGAN (Albert Roginsky), 92, died Nov. 19, 2009. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to Nathan Roginsky, from Russia, and Gizella (Diamond) Roginsky, from Hungary. He resided in Detroit (1947-1957), Huntington Woods (1957-1995) and Rossmoor Walnut Creek, Calif. (1995-2007). After graduating from Cleveland Technical High School, Mr. Rogan attended Western Reserve University School of Architecture and then Fenn College of Tool and Die Engineering. His military service in World War II involved: 5th Air Force, 90th Bomb Group, 319th Squadron (Asterperious), South Pacific Theater; navigator, 8-24 bomber; first lieutenant, air medal and three oak leaf clusters. Newman Cigar Company (M&N Cigar Company) and he retired at the age of 76. Albert Rogan was a man of great creative gifts, a loving heart, great courage and a compassionate nature. He reveled in the beauty of nature, loved the pleasure of garden- ing and flowers, the joy of sailing, many sports, and the fellowship and friendship of others wherever he went. He stayed fit throughout his long life and conscious of his health and vitality. He knew no strangers, only people he hadn't yet met. His home was open to people from all corners of the world. Mr. Rogan was always ready to lend a strong and helping hand to anyone he could possibly assist. Always ready with a joke, a smile and a wink, he had a ready laugh and was happy within himself. His integrity and honesty inspired many. He took great care of the well being of his family. He sought education for his children and had more books than shelves on which to put them. A more loving husband, a more devoted father and a truer friend could not be found. Albert Rogan will be missed terribly by his wife and children and by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Mr. Rogan is survived by his
