really excited to go to Israel and build

The professor's talk regarding anti-
Semitic and anti-Zionist activity on
campuses, in our communities and in
media exhibition
features the famed
"chicken soup" slide,
a dress-up area, and
activity stations where
the news media was real-time fright-
ening and a lesson for every one of us.
The lesson: We Jews and Israel are in
mortal danger from those who profess
to want to "help us" by surrendering
Israel for peace and from those who
preach Israel and Jews commit geno-
cide and apartheid.
Students at virtually every college
and university are assaulted with
anti-Israel (anti-Jewish) lectures; the
young, susceptible minds believe what
they are told. The Jewish students are
unprepared for the assaults from the
teachers and other students.
Professor Waltzer states that we can-
not eliminate the hate from the instruc-
tors — what we can do is educate our
children with the facts (with the help
of organizations like StandWithUs) to
stand up to the teachers, professors and
other students.
We adults can show them by
example by using the myriad of excel-
lent sources to educate ourselves and
speak out in response to news media
falsehoods and to educational insti-
tutions that allow instructors to use
classrooms to promote their ideologi-
cal manipulations.

Charles A. Palmer, Cooley professor and international art law expert,
speaks at the unveiling of Andy Warhol's portrait of Justice Louis
Brandeis at Cooley's Lansing campus on Nov. 24. In 1980, Warhol
selected the first Jewish U.S. Supreme Court justice, Louis Brandeis
(who served from 1916 to 1939), as one of the subjects of his portrait
series, Ten Portraits of Jews of the Twentieth Century, which also
include George Gershwin, Sarah Bernhardt, the Marx Brothers, Albert
Einstein and Sigmund Freud. Each of these portraits was produced in a
limited edition of 200 prints, with each print signed and numbered by
Warhol. Cooley's print, 147 of 200, is 40 by 32 inches. It will hang in the
Cooley Center Lobby, 300 S. Capitol Ave., Lansing.
