Bruce and Rosalie Rosen. The long-
time major donors to DPTV gave
the seed money for the project and
then added enough to get it to the
finish line.
"I've been a big fan of public
television for a long time Bruce
says. "The chance to tell the story
of Jewish Detroit was particularly
meaningful to us. So we did it."
"It was a two-fer," seconds Rosalie,
because it helped both DPTV and
the Jewish community. "With the
loss of so many young people, it's
important to tell the story that we
were there [in Detroit] and we will
continue to be there. It was just a
comfortable and nice-fitting thing
we wanted to do."
