Since cake was dessert, the huge "25"-shaped pastry that stood majestically in front at Handleman Hall was given by Paul to Yeshivah Gedolah of Greater Detroit for luscious gobble- upping. Jewish News high school athletes of the year were Abigail Cohen, Eric Fishman and Eric Glanz, with Michelle Lapin receiving the Bill Hertz Memorial Scholarship ... Our favorite pasta was served in a small family restaurant and incorporated pistachio nuts into the pasta dough as well as into the sauce.
