cultures of Israel.

East Lansing — Michigan State
University students attended the fifth
annual Israel Fest at the MSU Union
Ballroom on Nov. 9. It was a two-hour
celebration of the wide diversity and cul-
ture found within Israel, as well as show-
casing Israel's scientific community.

Subcultures featured at Israel Fest
included Ethiopian-Israelis, Bedouins
and Israeli Arabs, LGBT Israelis,
Indian Jews, North African Jews,
Persian Jews and the haredim (ultra-
religious).
