SHIRLEY HARRIS, 76, of
Bloomfield Hills, died Nov. 2, 2009.
She was financial and estate plan-
ner and a 2005 graduate of Oakland
University, completing the Harris
family having a degree. She was also
a past chair of the Women's Division
of Federation, read to the blind and
was involved in numerous philan-
thropic endeavors.
Mrs. Harris is survived by her
husband, Merle Harris; sons and
daughters-in-law, Steven and Gina
Harris of California, Jeffrey and
Jamie Harris of New York; daughter,
Julie Harris of New York; grand-
children, Rachel and Daniel Harris;
sister, Rosalyn Blankstein; sister-
in-law and brother-in-law, Suzanne
and Joseph Orley, Al Harris; nieces,
nephews, great-nieces and great-
nephews.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
