JEFFREY BRIAN
FORTIER, 27, of
Rochester Hills, died
Oct. 28, 2009.
He was a gradu-
ate in hotel manage-
ment and hospital-
ity from Michigan
Fortier
State University and
a proud member of
the MSU Alumni Association. After
graduation, he installed computer pro-
grams in hotels for a company called
TECHTEAM.
Mr. Fortier is survived by his par-
ents, Nancy and Doug Fortier of
Rochester Hills; brother, Brad Fortier
of Lake Orion; sister, Lindsay Fortier of
Rochester Hills; grandmother, Gertrude
Osten; aunts, uncles, cousins and a
world of friends.
He was the beloved grandson of the
late Werner Osten, the late Jean and the
late Frank Fortier.
Interment at Oakview Cemetery.

YETTA LAXER, 85, of Oak Park, died
Oct. 27, 2009.
She is survived by her sons and
daughter-in-law, Sheldon and Roberta
Laxer of Boca Raton, Fla., Sherman
Laxer of Oak Park; daughter, Cheri
Hartman of Boca Raton; grandchil-
dren, Randy and Izumi Laxer, Andrea
and Dr. Leo Kanterman, Tara Laxer,
Michele and Ryan Coblin, Michael
and Patty Hartman, Richard and Jolie
Hartman; great-grandchildren, Maya,
Aria, Matthew, Samantha, Jordan, Alexis,
Gabrielle, Chase, Morgan, Sidney, C.J.
Mrs. Laxer was the beloved wife of the
late Eugene Laxer.

FRED LEVEY, 81, of West Bloomfield,
died Oct. 27, 2009.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Lee Levey; sons and daughters-in-
law, Richard and Carey Levey of West
Bloomfield, Bruce and Cathy Levey of
Columbia, Md., Neal and Vickie Levey
of West Bloomfield; brother and sis-
ter-in-law, Cal and Fran Levey of West
Bloomfield; grandchildren, Mason and
Alexis Levey, Ashley (Eric) Shindler,
Jaime Levey, Michael and Christopher
Brune; great-grandson, Max Shindler;
cousin, Scott Paul; many dear caregivers,
nieces, nephews, other family members

HAROLD S. ROTHENBERG, 85, of
Delray Beach, Fla., died Oct. 29, 2009.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Florine Rothenberg; daughters and
sons-in-law, Adrienne and Jerry
Weinstein of West Bloomfield, Linda
and Marc Siegler of Farmington Hills;
grandchildren: Jeffrey Weinstein, Randy
(Lisa) Weinstein, Aaron Siegler and Jori
(Neil) Trelfa; great-grandchild, Shane;
brother-in-law of Muriel Rothenberg,
Raymond (Marge) Franklin, Audrey
(Frank) Gladman.
Mr. Rothenberg was the dear brother
of the late Hanley Rothenberg.
