Looking for a holiday card like no other? Guarantee your family's best angle with

Frameable Faces Photography. Like most new moms, Ally Cohen took one

spent many nights on the

look at her baby girl, Lacey, and thought there'd never been one more beauti-

couch in her room. Never a
pair to abandon their senses of humor, even under these circumstances, the

ful. So much so that she left her broadcast work, in front of the camera, to

begin Frameable Faces, offering photographic services for families, business-

es, special events and more and practicing her passion for showing people

how beautiful they can be through her lens. Says Cohen, who has since added

another photo subject, son Tony, with her husband, Doug, "You take one shot,

capture that moment, and a few minutes later another opportunity arises.

How could we possibly remember all of those wonderful, doting but ultimately

blurring moments if not for pictures?" Holiday card pricing varies according to

size and is in addition to a photo session; sessions start at $200. Schedule

in-studio (in West Bloomfield) or on location. Call (248) 790-7317 or visit

sisters came up with a catchphrase that they found to be enormously funny

when tagging the end of most sentences: "I want to hold the clicker; that's

all. You have cancer; that's all." Thus was born That's All LLC, Rosenzweig's

line of all-occasion and to-the-point greeting cards — which have recently

been picked up by manufacturer reps in eight states — all of which open to

Head Dress

Whenever Jovan Kassab wore one of the intricately adorned headbands she made

for herself, she would be accosted by friends and strangers alike. So the West

Bloomfield fashion writer went into business, beginning Jovan Jane in March with her

head-turning headbands (like the two-tone rhinestone and beaded applique

headband, $65, shown), then expanding to hats, necklaces and bracelets. Her work

has garnered the attention of People magazine, InStyle, E! Entertainment's That
Morning Show and won the Tyra Show's Best of Beauty. Look for Kassab's designs

locally at 6 Salon, Adam & Eve in West Bloomfield and more, or log on to her

Web site at jovanjane.com .
