FRED S. GREEN, 91, of New Port Richey Fla., formerly of Oak Park, died Oct. 13, 2009. A veteran of World War II, he became a staff sergeant and an intelligence radar specialist stationed in the Phillipines. At home, he became a technician for Michigan Bell PBX. An international ham operator, he was an avid baseball player and a huge fan of the Tigers. Mr. Green is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Sheree Green of Orlando, Fla., and David and Debbie Green of Tarpon Springs; grand- children, Michael Green, Lindsay Green, Austin Green and Brandon Green.
