He is the son of Jennifer and Daniel Gilbert and the brother of Grant, Gracie, A.J. and Nash. Sharing in the simchah will be his proud grandparents Shirley Gilbert, Murk Goddard and Pamela and Dr. Robert Feldman. He is also the grandson of the late Sam Gilbert. Nicolas attends Berkshire Middle School in Beverly Hills. He recently organized a fundraiser for the Children's Tumor Foundation by arranging a go-kart event at Paradise Park in Novi. He is proud of this undertaking as the most meaningful of his mitzvah projects. Jacob Allen Groden, son of Donna and Barry Groden and brother of Sarah and Laura, Will celebrate his bar mitzvah as he Groden reads from the Torah Saturday, Oct. 3, at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield. He is the grandchild of Pauline and Raymond Smolinski, Geraldine Smolinski and Morris Groden. He is also the grandchild of the late Marion Groden. Jacob attends West Hills Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. He felt it was especially meaningful to donate funds he earned babysitting to the Animal Rescue League as part of his mitzvah experience. Taylor Nicole Hall, daughter of Lisa and Keith Hall, will read from the Torah as she celebrates her bat mitzvah at Temple Israel in Hall West Bloomfield Saturday, Oct. 3. She is the sister of Brandon and Ryan and the grandchild of Myra and Morris Gabel, Brenda and Charles Fantich and Eleanor and Sonne Heise. She is also the great- grandchild of the late Anne Fogel and the late Max Fantich. Taylor is a student at Sarah Banks Middle School in Walled Lake. Her most meaningful mitz- vah involved working with children with autism at DMC Hospital in Novi.
