victories, Pisgah II held oppo-
nents to single digits.
The other Pisgah II play-
ers were Loren Blumberg,
Justin Columbus, Mike
Feld, Jared Gorback, Mike
Horwitz, Bruce Kaye, Keith
Lewiston, Ron Silberstein,
Marc Steingold and Jeff
Weberman.
Pisgah II scored six runs in
the first inning of the champi-
onship game, but Zeiger coun-
tered with seven in the third
and took a 14-9 lead into the
bottom of the seventh.
The first Pisgah II batter
flied out, then six straight
hitters reached base, cutting
the lead to 14-13. Blumberg's
sacrifice fly tied the game, and
Weiss' sharp single to right
field won it.
Eisenberg and Weiss each
had four hits, and Lewiston
and Weberman each had
three hits for Pisgah II. Todd
Kaluzny and Larry Buckfire
each went 4-for-4 for Zeiger,
and Al Mudryk had three hits.
Kaluzny blasted two fence-
clearing home runs.
