But Pisgah II scored six runs — the last on a two-out walkoff RBI single by Ryan Weiss — and beat Zeiger 15-14 at Drake Sports Park in West Bloomfield to win its fifth consecutive playoff title. The league record was four consecutive titles won by Morganthau from 1996-99. Loren Allen, Lee Eisenberg and Rob Kaplan were members of those Morganthau teams and they've done it again with Pisgah II. "It hasn't been easy to do what our teams have done," Kaplan said. "This is a very competitive league. One of our secrets has been to have close to the maxi- mum of 18 players every year. Because this is a Sunday morning league, it seems guys always have conflicts with family events and vacations."
