Gail Zimmerman and Adam Lambert

Yes, Adam!
I just read Arts & Entertainment Editor
Gail Zimmerman's article "The Talented
Mr. Lambert" (Sept. 10, page 49) and I
must say I am so unbelievably jealous. I
just love him.
I think he's extremely talented. I am a
huge fan. And it's so true that I am one
Google search away from crashing my
computer.
Great article!

THE THRILL-RIDE OF THE YEAR!

What Dr. Mark Rosenblum has created
here in the Detroit area oftentimes goes
beyond what words can describe. With
his brilliance, creativity, passion, drive
and leadership skills, he has created one
of the finest neurosurgery/neuroscience
departments in the country. So many
patients, like myself, have found hope,
health and quality of life because of the
incredible team working there.
Thank you so much for sharing this
information with so many others who
now can be aware of this gem.

Obama On Israel
Thank you so much to writer Bed Fal-
baum ("Obama's Unfriendly Policy Ap-
proach," Sept. 17, page 78) for expressing
so clearly the views of those of us who
have as our highest priority the welfare
of Israel and U.S. foreign policy.
Clearly, President Obama does not
value Israel very highly. Abortion rights,
health reform, gay rights — those
are supported by many in the general
public. But if Jews do not hold Israel's
strength and security as exceedingly
important, can we expect others to do
so? No one can accuse Jews of being
only for themselves. However, "If I am
not for myself, who shall be for me?"

A Real Confession

Hermelins Lead
Wow! What fabulous coverage of the 10th
anniversary of the Hermelin Brain Tumor
Center at the Henry Ford Health System
in Detroit ("Ten Years Of Hope Sept. 24,
page 11). The courage and conviction of
the Hermelins has always amazed and
inspired me. Their desire to help others
dealing with brain tumors, as they them-
selves were fighting the battle is a true
testament to their spirit of hope, strength,
courage, community and leadership.
The Detroit community has always
been blessed to have the Hermelin family
here and always leading the way.
