THE
PR MISE
Joan Cascade
called the Jewish
Hospice & Chaplaincy Network looking
for help for her ailing husband, Maurie.
Maurie had asked her to find a rabbi so he
could reconnect with God before he died.
Rabbi Avie Shapiro took up the cause and
weekly visits with the Cascades followed.
Maurie's spiritual health improved, and Joan
was inspired to a new calling.
