Farmington Hills are delighted to
announce the engagement of their
daughter Emily to Ryan Kravetz, son of
Carol and Jay Kravetz of West Bloomfield.
Emily and Ryan met while attending
Michigan State University in East Lansing,
where Emily graduated with a bachelor's
degree in business. She received her mas-
ter's degree in higher education administra-
tion-student affairs from Loyola University
Chicago. Emily works as an assistant direc-
tor in the Career Center at DePaul University
in Chicago, managing the Co-op Internship
Program.
Ryan earned a bachelor's degree in political science at Michigan State
University. He is the vice president at Beale Group and Associates in Chicago,
where he focuses on commercial real estate brokerage.
A November wedding is planned at the Hotel Baronette in Novi.

Merritt Olson are thrilled to
announce their engagement.
Steven, formerly of Farmington Hills, is the
son of Patricia and Robert Baer of Longboat
Key, Fla., and Farmington Hills. Merritt is
the daughter of Elizabeth Olson of Lake
Oswego, Ore., and Richard Olson of Chicago.
Steven, a CPA, is a graduate of Michigan
State University in East Lansing and is a
senior manager at Blackman & Kallick.
Merritt, a graduate of Whitman College,
Walla Walla, Wash., is K Vintners' director of
sales for the eastern half of North America.
The couple will be married in October at Temple Sholom of Chicago, where
they both live.

mily and Daniel Arnold of West
Bloomfield marked their 60th
wedding anniversary. A celebra-
tion in their honor was held July 4. They
were joined by their children, Susan and
Bob Sunquest, Reena and Stuart Arnold,
Beth and David Kirschner, along with the
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other
family members and friends. All wished
