Quotas for farmers and water rationing for Israelis have already begun and pumping from the Sea of Galilee, Israel's primary fresh water reservoir, is in jeopardy. JNF's network of over 200 reservoirs and dams provides water to 1.5 million Israelis every day. But that is not enough. JNF has now committed $100 million to build 40 new reservoirs, explore new water sources, support construction projects, promote conservation and education activities, and research and implement new agricultural techniques. We can't wait for miracles. ..................... 84 September 17 2009 Kadima Workshop: Struggling Children Kadima, a nonprofit mental health agency in Southfield is hosting an educational conference at Oakland Community College, Auburn Hills Campus, 7:45 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23.
