Excited grandparents are Larry and
Andi Wolfe of Bloomfield Hills and Ted
and Eileen Thacker of Ann Arbor. Also
welcoming Judah are great-grandpar-
ents D. Dan Kahn of Bloomfield Hills,
Evelyn Solomon of Los Angeles, Calif.,
and Edna Thacker of Lakeville, Ind.
Judah is named in loving memory of
his maternal great-grandfather Sidney
Wolfe and his maternal great-grand-
mother Betty Kahn.

Emily Einstandig of
West Bloomfield will
become a bat mitzvah
at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek
Southfield on
Saturday, Sept. 12.
Participating in the
Einstandig
ceremony will be her
parents, David and Ilene Einstandig,
and her sisters Mallory and Rebecca.
Proud grandparents are Alan and Elaine
Belkin and Milton Einstandig of West
Bloomfield. Emily is the great-grand-
daughter of Jennie Fried and the grand-
daughter of the late Elaine Einstandig.
Her most meaningful mitzvah project
was volunteering at Camp Keshet this
summer at Congregation Shaarey Zedek
West Bloomfield, B'nai Israel Center.

Sharing in the simchah will be proud
grandparents Iris and Glen Goldstrom,
formerly of Oak Park, and Marian
Kantor of West Bloomfield. They are
also the grandchildren of the late Dr.
Sheldon Kantor.
Scott is a student at Woodside
Middle School and Brad attends
Canterbury Middle School in Fort
Wayne. Scott found his visiting dog
therapy volunteer project especially
rewarding, while Brad's experience at
the Community Harvest Food Bank
was most meaningful.

of Marcy and Steven
Feldman and sister of
Samantha and Ariel,
will celebrate her bat
mitzvah at Temple
Israel in West
Feldman
Bloomfield Friday,
Sept. 11. Her proud grandparents
are Millie and Mort Feldman, Linda
Goldberg and Harold Goldberg.
Ryann attends Warner Middle School
in Farmington Hills. She babysat to
earn money to donate to the Bear Hug
Foundation, which sends underprivi-
leged children with special needs to
camp. She felt this was the most mean-
ingful of her mitzvah projects.

12 at Congregation

Southfield and cele-
brate her bat mitzvah; a prior ceremony
took place in Jerusalem. Her sister Faye
as well as her grandparents Phyllis and
Herbert Mendelson will also share the
moment. Zoe is the granddaughter of
the late Rose and Morris Moss.
Zoe attends the Norup International
School. She was a peer mentor for the
past year where she played with and
befriended children who had special
emotional needs and continues to
work with the children.

Jessica, will celebrate
her bat mitzvah at

Bloomfield Saturday,
Sept. 12. Sharing in the simchah will
be her grandparents Janet and Henry
Moses and Elaine and Sheldon Miller.
Amanda attends Bloomfield Hills
Middle School. Her most meaningful
mitzvah project was selling bracelets
to raise funds for the Crohn's and
Colitis Foundation.
