Tyler Unger will be
called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Aug. 29 at
Temple Emanu-El
in Oak Park. He is
the son of the late
Florence Stern, the
Unger
brother of Max and
the grandson of
Harold and Claire Stern.
Tyler is a student at Norup
International School in Oak Park. For
his mitzvah project, he worked at Yad
Ezra in Berkley, distributing food to
the needy in the Jewish community.

heri and Jacob Olbrot were married
recently at Brooke Lodge Hotel and
Conference Center in Augusta, Mich.
Rabbi Adam Rosenwasser of Ann Arbor
officiated.
Sheri's mother and father are Wendy and
Barry Jaffe of Ann Arbor. Her grandparents
are Anne Jaffe and the late Eugene Jaffe,
Alice Gurstelle and the late Harold Gurstelle.
The groom's parents are John and Teri
Olbrot of Kalamazoo. His grandparents are
the late Helen and the late Leonard Olbrot,
the late Peggy and the late Rudolph Schniers.
The couple are both musicians and live in
Kalamazoo.
