YIS Women's Event
We think nothing of driving
half an hour to a good restaurant,
but we'll settle for a hospital
that's right around the corner.
As long as your health insurance allows you to go
anywhere, maybe you shouldn't confine yourself to
the neighborhood.
Because this isn't dinner, this is your life.
Year after year, the people of Southeast Michigan have
rated Beaumont as their most preferred hospital. Most
preferred for surgery and for overall quality of care.

Labor Day BBYO Kickoff
The Michigan Region BBYO will
kick off the year with free food
and fun at Drake Sports Park in
West Bloomfield on Labor Day,
Sept. 7.
This kickoff will consist of two
separate events: a Teen Connection
kickoff from noon-2 p.m. for sev-
enth- and eighth-graders and a
BBYO kickoff from 2-5 p.m. for
ninth-12th-graders.
The BBYO teens will be partici-
pating in a battle of the sexes to
help further promote the brother-
hood and sisterhood of the orga-
nization.
The Teen Connection teens will
be playing classic picnic games
ranging from sack races to the egg
toss. Attendees of both events will
enjoy hot dogs, chips and soda.
Jeremy Sherman, membership
vice president of Michigan Region
BBYO, said,"It is going to be so much
fun; I can't wait!"
Jeremy, along with teens
Samantha Dines, Amy Herman and
Nathan Chomsky, have put in many
hours of work on the upcoming
events. They hope to attract more
than 200 new teens.
