Heller-Issner

ackie Heller, daughter of Wendy and
Marc Kippelman of Bloomfield Hills
and the late Mark Heller, and Marc
Issner, son of Lori and Jim Issner of West
Bloomfield, are pleased to announce their
engagement.
Jackie earned a bachelor's degree in
human development and psychological
services from Northwestern University
in Evanston, Ill. She earned her master's
degree and is pursuing her doctorate
in clinical psychology at Wayne State
University in Detroit while working at
Children's Hospital of Michigan.
Marc received his bachelor's degree in
mechanical engineering from Michigan State University in East Lansing. He
earned his master's degree in mechanical engineering from Oakland University
and is an engineer at Chrysler.
A November wedding is planned at Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills.

So a-Young

he families of Stacey Young and
Jason Soffa are pleased to announce
the engagement of their children.
Stacey is the daughter of Dr. Charles Young
and the late Ava Young. She graduated
from James Madison College at Michigan
State University in East Lansing and works
as an account manager for EHIM Inc., a
Southfield-based pharmacy benefit manager.
Jason is the son of Dr. Jeffrey Soffa and
Mrs. Esther Soffa. He is a 2002 graduate
of Michigan State University College of
Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his
residency in family medicine and is a fac-
ulty physician at St. John Macomb-Oakland in Warren.
Stacey and Jason will be married in November at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield.

avid S. Tanzman turned 90
years "young" on Aug. 8. He and
his lovely wife, Lottie, are the
proud parents of Robin, Elaine, Karen and
Howard. The Tanzmans are deeply involved
with their large and loving family that
includes their children's loving spouses:
Teddy Miller, Michael Strasberg, Devin
Goldenberg and Jodi (Rothman) Tanzman,
11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchil-
dren. Family and many friends wish Mr.
Tanzman a hearty mazel toy on reaching
this great milestone and that he continue to
enjoy good health and happiness until 120
years.
