Mrs. Abels was the dear mother of the
late Allen Abels; grandmother of the late

GEORGE J. BARR, 100,
died Aug. 8, 2009.
He was a chemi-
cal engineer who
worked for Ford Motor
Company and was also
a real estate investor.
