Obama No Friend
Very little has been said by the Jewish
News or the Jewish community about
the anti-Israel position of the Obama
administration and Congress. Where
is the protest for giving $800 million
for the terrorist "state" of Gaza? Why
no outcry about pressure on Israel not
to build in its own territory — yes,
Jerusalem and the West Bank?
The Jewish community tolerates,
without protest, the administration's
attempts to talk unconditionally with
Iran. How about expressing outrage
over the appointment of George
Mitchell (a known anti-Israel politi-
cian) as the president's envoy for
obtaining a "solution" to the Arab-
Israeli dispute.
Where is the Jewish concern about
the administration's continued reli-
ance on the same old economic sanc-

tions to stop Iran's nuclear weapons
efforts, when such sanctions have
failed so many times in the past (e.g.,
North Korea)?
There is no doubt in my mind that if
Iran were to attack Israel with nuclear
weapons, the Obama administration
would do nothing except to condemn
Iran, rush to the (anti-Semitic) United
Nations in a futile attempt to imple-
ment more ineffective sanctions and
statements of condemnation and,
finally, send medical help to the sur-
vivors as its cynical show of "support"
for Israel.
It is about time that the American
Jewish community face reality and end
their love affair with the Democrats
and the Obama administration.
