engagement of their son Benjamin Michael
to Kirstin Jensen Northenscold, daugh-
ter of Tom and Priscilla Northenscold of
Plymouth, Minn.
Ben earned his master's in aerospace
engineering from the University of
Michigan. He is a compressor aerody-
namicist at Rolls-Royce North American
Technologies in Indianapolis, Ind.
Kirstin earned her B.A. in English and
German from the University of Michigan.
She recently completed a Fulbright teaching scholarship in Germany and will
attend Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., in the fall to earn her master's
in education.
An August wedding in planned in Minneapolis.

r. David and Dr. Adrea Benkoff
of Farmington Hills recently
celebrated the marriage of their
daughter Reesa to Benjamin Handelsman
in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Ben is the son
of Robert and Dr. Sharon Handelsman of
Evanston, Ill.
The wedding took place on the beach of
the Marriott Morningstar Resort at sunset
and was officiated by Rabbi Arthur Starr.
The maid of honor was Amanda Benkoff,
sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Dr.
Susan Sherr, Jessica Peltz and Maggie
Shapiro.
The best man was Paolo Segre. Groomsmen were Dr. Matthew Salter, Peter
Molinaro and Eric Fogel.
Reesa and Ben were honored to have his grandmother Phyllis Handelsman
and grandfather Boris Kacel walk barefoot down the aisle.
Fifty guests were present to participate in a very memorable four-day celebra-
tion.
