HYMAN GLAZMAN, 80, of Madison

Bloomfield, died July 24, 2009.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Joel and Shirlee Broudy
of Commerce; sister and brother-in-law,
Ann and Arthur Seman of Los Angeles,
Calif.; many loving nieces, nephews,
other family members and friends.
Interment at the Machpelah Cemetery
in Ferndale. Contributions may be
made to a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements by Dorfman Chapel.

He is survived by his companion,
Helene Levitskv; cousins, Anna and
Benjamin Erlich, Shirley Scheinker,
Leonard and Judy Gross.

RABBI MOISHE CARMEN, 83 of Oak

Park, died July 22, 2009.
He was a man of simchah and sha-
lom. He accepted all that was in his life
\\'ith love and happiness with his lot and
embodied peace above all. He died on
the vahrtzeit of Aharon Hakohen, who
was the archetype of peace.
Rabbi Carmen is survived by his wife,
Sybil Carmen; siblings, Max (Marilyn)
Carmen of Israel, Belle (Jack) Borin of
Orchard Lake; children, Rena (Dovid)
Novack of Israel, Aviva Carmen of Santa
Cruz, N.M., Abi Carmen of Destin, Fla.,
Noam (Stacy) Carmen of Southfield,
Naomi (Bobby) Kupfer of Las Vagas,
Nev.; daughter-in-law, Anne (Michael)
Kushner of Chicago; stepchildren, Ethel
(David) Minder of Monsey, Neil (Judy)
Weintraub of St. Louis, Mo., Shelly
(Mike) Willis of South Africa; many
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was the husband of the late Esther
Carmen, who died in Jerusalem in 1971;
father of the late Hillel Carmen; brother
of the late Jack (Ethel) Carmen.

at his home in Las

Mr. Haftka was a
successful business-
man who continued

Medical Supply Company until the
time of his passing. He was a lifelong
golfer and proud of his hole-in-one.
He is survived by his wife of 30
years, Luba Haftka; daughter, Judy
(Jack), Nolish; son, Harold (Cathy)
Haftka; stepchildren, Dr. Brian (Fran)
Lipsen, Bonnie Filandrinos, Steven
Lipsen and Shelly (Rick) Albin; grand-
children, Rachel and Jeffrey Nolish,
Alexis and Chelsea Haftka, Alexander
and Andrew Filandrinos, and liana
and Arielle Lipsen; sister, Belle Weiss;
nieces, nephews and friends.
Internment in Las Vegas.

The Nolish family will receive
friends Sunday, Aug. 9, noon to eight
p.m. at the home of Jack and Judy
