happy years of marriage. The couple
will vacation in northern Michigan with
their children and grandchildren to honor
the milestone.

Robbins 60th

M

arge and Jerry Robbins of West
Bloomfield recently celebrated
their 60th anniversary. They
were married on June 26,1949, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue in Detroit. Their chil-
dren are Debbie Robbins, Nancy Mandell,
Sandy and Michael Robbins, Donna Evans
and Rock Evans. They have been blessed
with eight grandchildren, Bryan and Lauren
Robbins, Keith, Shayna and Hayley Mandell
and Scott, Glenn and Eric Evans. Their
children are sending them to Las Vegas to
continue the celebration.

and Rhoda Silverleib of Newton, Mass.
Julie and Alan live and work in
Washington, D.C. Julie graduated from the
University of Michigan and Yale Law School
in New Haven, Conn., and is a senior staff
attorney at the Legal Aid Society of the
District of Columbia.
Alan graduated from Johns Hopkins
in Baltimore, Md., and earned a master's
degree from Harvard in Cambridge, Mass.;
he is a writer for CNN.
The wedding is planned for next spring in Washington.
