At 76, he was bringing new cre-
ative energy to the management of
hospitals and corporations across the
country. He won numerous teaching
awards throughout his career and
was recognized and widely respected
for his integrity and ability to inspire
others.
He published over 90 articles and
nine books on topics ranging from
hospital management to interac-
tive planning and systems thinking.
He was a cancer researcher and
a consultant to over 65 hospitals
and health systems worldwide. He
worked for minority admission to
professional schools, added public
health services to dental school pro-
grams and initiated a program to
teach nurse executives business and
management skills.
Dr. Rovin is survived by his sis-
ters. Benita and Rebecca; his broth-
ers-in law, Rav Coleman, Marshall
Greenspan, Bob Anderson; sister-
in-law, Carolyn Anderson; grand-
children, Mason and Ellis; children,
David, Suzan, and Lisa; and first, last
and always his wife and partner of
52 years, Nancy.

DR. LEO SCHEIN. 90, of Boynton
Beach, Fla., died July 13, 2009.
He was a dentist.
Dr. Schein is survived by his nieces
and nephews, Joan Golden and
Nancy Zerry; Joan's children and
grandchildren.
He was the beloved son of the late
Aaron and the late Sophie Schein;
loving brother of the late Ethel
Zerrv; dear brother-in-law of the late
George Zerry.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Interment at
Beth Moses Cemetery. Arrangements
by Ira Kaufman Chapel.
