I Spirituality Synagogues from page A27 A Taste Of Melton The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit's Alliance for Jewish Education will hold a Florence Melton Adult Mini-School "Taste of Melton" infor- mational session. Sample lessons will be held 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the Max M. Fisher Federation Building, 6735 Telegraph, Bloomfield Twp., and 9:30- 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, at the Jewish Community Center in West Bloomfield. Melton instructors will teach the sample lessons and Melton Adult Mini-School Director Judy Loebl will answer questions. The Florence Melton Adult Mini- school is open to any member of the Jewish community. The two-year course meets weekly for 30 weeks per year. Faculty encourage group discus- sion and exploration of ideas. Traditional Melton \%-ill meet on Wednesday evenings at the Max M. Fisher Federation Building, Thursday mornings at Jewish Community Center or Thursday evenings at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield. Melton PEP (Parent Education Program for parents with children newborn to sixth grade) will meet Monday mornings at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington Hills. The new Melton, Melton YAD, (for young adults ages of 21-41) will meet on Monday evenings at Adat Shalom Synagogue, Farmington Hills.
