Rees-Feldman

ina and Rafael Feldman of
Farmington Hills are delighted
to announce the engage-
ment of their daughter Jessica Ilene to
Richard Nathaniel Rees, son of Valery and
Christopher Rees of London, England.
Jessica received a bachelor of arts
degree in organizational studies from the
University of Michigan and a master's
degree in design and branding strategy
from Brunel University in England. She is
an account manager with Dig for Fire DMG
in Sheffield, England.
Richard has a bachelor's degree in inter-
national health from the University of Leeds. He is a medical student at the
University of Sheffield.
The couple met while volunteering for Limmud, an international Jewish edu-
cational charity.
An August wedding is planned at Lovett Hall in Dearborn.

illiam and Irene Schumer
of Bloomfield Hills recently
celebrated their 65th wed-
ding anniversary in New York City with a
bus tour in Manhattan of the places where
they met and courted and lived in their
first apartment together. Joining them on
the bus were their children, Dr. Larry and
Sharon Schwartz of Bloomfield Hills; Ken
and Deborah Tuchman of Alpine, N.J.;
and Drs. David Schumer and MaryEllen
Maccio of Federal Way, Wash., as well as all
of their grandchildren. A festive Shabbat
dinner followed the bus tour.

wedding anniversary recently.
They were married at Congregation Beth
Moses in Detroit by Rabbi Irving Schnipper
on June 24, 1969. The Serlings are blessed
with a wonderful life, in particular with
their daughter, Dana Serling; daughter and
son-in-law, Alizah and Adam Forman; and
granddaughters Alexis, 5, and Danielle,
3. In addition, Michael and Elaine are sur-
rounded by wonderful friends and family.
