Beth El Seniors Board
On June 16, Lois Freeman was
installed for the 12th consecutive
year as president of the Ambassadors
of Temple Beth El, the Bloomfield
Township synagogue's senior group,
which provides a
monthly opportu-
nity for members
and friends to
enjoy outstanding
programming and
lunches.
The presidency
is only one of Lois

commitments.
Freeman — co-chair of the brick
campaign, co-head usher, sisterhood
corresponding secretary and a mem-
ber of the board of trustees — is a
former co-chair of the sisterhood's
Party Planning Showcase and the
Yom Kippur Break Fast, a past sister-
hood vice president and a former
docent committee chair.

Renee Jablonski, third vice president;
Jeannette MacWilliams, record-

Design A Card
Yad Ezra in Berkley is looking for
creative artists between the ages of
4-15 to participate in the annual Rosh
Hashanah Greeting Card Contest.
The colorful designs will be judged
in four different categories (by age)
and the winning designs will be
reprinted onto greeting cards. The
greeting cards will be sold by Yad
Ezra for the High Holidays.
All artwork should be created
on 8x10 papers, and the artwork
must be done with bright and bold
coloring materials. Entries must be
mailed to Yad Ezra, located at 2850
W. 11 Mile Road, Berkley, MI 48072
by July 20.
